Russ has more than 20 years’ experience in the information technology field. He spent 15 years at DataHouse, Inc. a local software development and consulting firm. While there he gained a wide range of experience from programmer/analyst and project management to various administrative and executive positions. He left in 2001 to start a web development business as well as pursue other web ventures.

Melissa Chang, APR (Vice President/Buzzmaster)

Melissa has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing and public relations, including 11 years with Starr Seigle Communications, five years as the Marketing Director for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, and four years as the Marketing Director of Aloha Tower Marketplace. She is currently a freelance writer and independent marketing consultant, specializing in integrating the new social media with traditional media to maximize clients’ marketing efforts. Clients and projects include Pearlridge Center, Metromix.com, the Honolulu Advertiser, Bank of Hawaii, RSVPStyle.com, Lanakila Pacific Meals on Wheels, and Edible Hawaiian Islands Magazine.

Melissa is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America and was named the 2006 Gregg W. Perry Public Relations Professional of the Year by the Hawaii Chapter. She was also named one of the “Top 20 Social Media Geeks in Honolulu” by Bytemarks and “Honolulu’s Best Twitter” by Honolulu Weekly.
